Hi, my name is Agata O'Neil. I'm a certified Bikram Yoga teacher and a licensed massage therapist. I started practicing Bikram yoga in August of 2005, and absolutely fell in love with the yoga. I had taken a few "Power Yoga" classes in the past and didn't really have the patience for it. I have always been very athletic. I played soccer for 5 years; I worked out at health clubs. I always loved to challenge myself by running as much as I could, and signing up for different boot-camp style workouts like kickboxing and, spin classes, you name it. Over the years I started to feel all the “working out” had taken a toll on my body! One day I overheard an employee at a health club I used to work at talk about this amazing, hot yoga class she took that made her sweat more than she ever has in her life. I thought, how strange, it's yoga! How much can you sweat doing that? So I took a class, and struggled a little, but I got through it. Now almost 2 years later, I'm teaching Bikram Yoga. The most amazing thing is that not only am I getting a good workout but I no longer have seasonal allergies, I am so much more energized, flexible, and my focus and concentration has definitely improved. I have found that everytime I take a class, I have a different experience or learn something new. I still work as a massage therapist and highly recommend Bikram yoga to all of my clients! Honestly, I have never really had such a GREAT passion for anything as I do now, teaching and practicing Bikram Yoga.
